WOMEN TOKENS

I was on the board of the University of New Hampshire Women's Commission and we wanted to raise money. Instead of having a cocktail party I made women tokens which sold for 59 cents--what women were paid for every dollar a man made at the time. You were supposed to carry one with you and if a man asked you to be the token woman you could say you were busy and hand him a woman token. Now women get 79 cents for every dollar a man makes and I have updated the token.
