When I first took pottery classes I tried to learn to throw on a pottery wheel. But it was hard. Kicking that wheel around made me sweat. It wasn't until ten years later, when I was destroying some rejects, that I really learned to throw a pot. I took these pictures in 1982 and they were published in Studio Potter Magazine in 1983 (Vol 13, #1, page 88). Now I can't find the originals and only have the magazine page to show you.
