I have never liked being called a craftsMAN. And it seems crazy that after years of PBS and NPR eliminating sexist language--that the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen still hold on to that outdated name. So I made them a gift for their permanent collection--"League of New Hampshire Craftsmen--too bad there aren't any women," in 1983. Now its twenty years later and we're still all MEN.
