Carol Luminiferous, a piano virtuoso and artist by the age of 11 met Bertino while she was singing in the choir at church and he was going to Yale. His family were wash-a-shores and her family were already on the shore but they fell in love anyway. She wanted to spend her honeymoon at the IOKA theatre watching Flying down to Rio with Fred Astaire but Bertino insisted they fly to the moon and then to Michigan and Pennsylvania and NH with occasional stop offs in Barnstable MA. Now this is no ordinary woman. She looks fresh as a lily and she shines like the moon. So far she has made 1 billion funny prints, raised two children, hung out the wash, snowshoed across the state, and been a friend to wayward potters in several languages. Not bad for a blonde. Every night she fills the tub with lavender scented bubbles, sings the plan of her next thousand prints in Italian and sleeps through the night in a villa in Tuftonboro. Sweet dreams Carolina Luminiferous.
